Artists' Reception and Wine Tasting
Thursday February 1, 5 - 8 pm
"Animals In Art" is a show we have looked forward to here for quite awhile. Animals have always played a role in art history, from the petroglyphs to contemporary contemporary edgy conceptual installation art with elephant dung. Our show at The Clown will focus on the loving, whimsical, graphic, painterly animals by artists from our stable: June August, John Andrews, Brad Maushart, Deborah Randall, Pamela Lawson, Hélène Farrar, Abbott Meader, Robert Hollingworth, Shannon Richardson, Rusty Johson among others, and invited artists: Colleen Kinsella, John Meyers, Melinda Titus, Matt Welch, Rosalind Thompson.
